the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species with distribution that
includes Nigeria - from CITES-listed
Species Database -- maintained by the CITES Secretariat, Switzerland. This page is the result of a search for Nigeria.
The database includes all species of flora listed in the appendices of CITES
with the exception of Appendix II Orchidaceae. These species only appear if they have been
recorded in WCMC's Global Plants Database. Hybrid generic names of Cactaceae and
Orchidaceae are not included. Information on the full appendix history of the taxa
selected (as at 19 March 1998) is provided, as are all specific reservations entered by
Parties. The database also includes 1997 IUCN Red List of
Threatened Plants: Red Data Book Categories.
