The objective of PROARCA/CAPAS is to provide financial, technical, and policy assistance for the
management of protected areas and the conservation of biodiversity in Central America. The aim is to
strengthen the agenda of the Central American Commission for Environment and Development. PROARCA/CAPAS operates regionally in Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras,
Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panamá.
