Abstract: Study commissioned by USAID. Selected health and demographic statistics are brought together from multiple sources to provide an overview of population, health, and nutrition (PHN) conditions in a given developing country. Text files contain only tables of data while .pdf files include several graphs along with the tables. Each report contains: (1) a summary table of the most current available data on leading demographic and health indicators; (2) several tables/graphs that show trends in leading indicators; and (3) a set of tables/graphs that show comparisons between country-level indicator values and the median values for all developing countries, for the USAID region where the country is located, and for the relevant income group (based on GDP per capita). In addition, each report concludes with notes on the data including brief definitions of the indicators included, and a comprehensive list of sources used in compiling the reports.
